QUARANTINE

The Latin root of the word “quarantine” is “forty”.

So what does the Bible say about 40?

The flood lasted 40 days.

40 years Moses fled Egypt.

40 days Moses stayed on Mount Sinai to receive the Commandments.

Exodus lasted 40 years.

Jesus fasted for 40 days.

Lent is 40 days.

40 days for a woman to rest after giving birth.

A group of theologians thinks the number 40 represents “change”. It is the time of preparing a person, or people, to make a fundamental change.

Something will happen after these 40 days. Just believe and pray. Remember, whenever the number 40 appears in the Bible, there is a “change”.

Please know that during this “quarantine” rivers are cleaning up, vegetation is growing, the air is becoming cleaner because of less pollution, there is less theft and murder, healing is happening, and most importantly, people are turning to Christ. The Earth is at rest for the first time in many years and hearts are truly transforming.

So, during this time, enjoy it with your loved ones and return to the family altar together. Family prayer is a great blessing. Through prayer you will see the changes God can work in you and in your home. Christ promises us that everything works together for the good for those who love God: Romans 8:28!

Remember we are in the year 2020, and 20 + 20 = 40.

Also, 2020 is the year of the United States Census. Jesus Christ, the savior of the world, was born during a census.

Lastly, 2020 is perfect vision. May our sight focus on the Lord and living according to His perfect vision for us knowing He holds us in the palm of His hand.

May these days of “quarantine” bring spiritual liberation to our souls, our nation, and our world.

The best is yet to come.

Trust in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!✨

Edited: I just counted and 40 days from “Y’all Stay Home” in Ft. Worth ends on May 4…….

World Toilet paper shortage, 2020

Perhaps you too have been experiencing the desire to pile up the paper. For some strange reason, Store’s around the globe have sold out of the precious paper. So the question is WHY? Poopy paper? Really?

Could it simply be that we have lost sight of what is really important. Think about it, we elevate Movie stars, athletes, education, and money, far above our family, our friends and our faith. During this crisis all the things that we have placed so much value on have been suddenly taken away. We claim we’ve got this and we will rise again better and stronger than before. Yet perhaps we’ve missed the point.

And the toilet paper pandemic is God’s humorous way of pointing out that we have lost our way. It’s as if our eyes are blinded, we no longer can tell what’s truly important.

Instead of food and provisions for life, we pile up poopy paper!

God has a great sense of humor and an even greater love for us.

If you have lost your way, Call upon Jesus today, He will forgive your sins and make you whole.

Romans 5:8

They say a crash is coming, are you ready?

To protect my house, I buy insurance. To protect my car, I buy insurance. Wouldn’t it be nice to have insurance for stocks! Well, there is. Let me explain.

I would first have to decide how long I wanted the to cover the stock gains with the PUT option. The Put option would sell the stock automatically upon expiration if the share price was below the price of the option. Below are examples of put options that expire in 7, 60, 90 and 145 days periods.

They put works like this, if the stock price goes below the $35 the strike price on or before the expiration date, I would have the right to sell that stock for $35 even if the price is much lower. I do not have the obligation to sell it before expiration I just have the right to sell it so I can wait and see if the price recovers and moves back up before I execute the sale so this allows me to keep the stock and watch it knowing that if it stays below $45 that I have already sold it for $45.

If MU stock was now trading at $55 and I wanted insurance that it wouldn’t fall below say $45.

I would buy a put option that would expired some time in the future. For example, if I bought a Put option with a $45 strike that expires in 45 days it would cost me .45 cents per share
